Hydrofoils — Front Wings, Masts & Modular Systems

Hydrofoils are modular systems made up of a front wing, mast, fuselage, and stabilizer. Each component plays a role in your performance, stability, and riding style — from pumping and downwinding to surf and freestyle winging.

High aspect front wings offer glide and efficiency, great for surf and pump foiling. Lower aspect wings provide more lift and stability, ideal for learning and maneuvering. Masts come in aluminum or carbon, with options in high modulus and ultra high modulus (UHM) carbon for ultimate stiffness and response.

Most brands — including Armstrong, Duotone, Flitelab, and F-One — use modular foil systems so you can mix and match components as you progress. It’s easy to upgrade a front wing or test different stabilizers without switching brands.
