Quebramar Since 2023, a new chef has transformed this beach bar, located in front of the foil school, into a great option for dining or drinks. Watch your partner foiling while sipping your wine.
Porto das Barcas A 5-minute drive out of town takes you to this gorgeous restaurant with stunning views. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and lovely food. Try the mango ceviche. In the back, there’s an Ibiza-style hangout, perfect for an afternoon drink.
A Choupana This traditional wooden restaurant is run by three brothers. They BBQ their freshly caught fish, and the views are beyond beautiful, especially just before sunset.
Ritual Another favorite of ours, especially as they offer a mixed cuisine. There’s always something going on. Drink a gin tonic, eat some tapas, or, if you’re hungry and with someone, try the special steak. Hmmmmm.
A Fateixa A local hotspot by the river. Lovely fish, great views, and better priced than some other restaurants in similar locations. Try the finger-licking garlic shrimps.
Riverside Enjoy stunning views over the river, delicious hamburgers, perfectly marinated fries, good mayonnaise, and stay open until 2 AM. It’s a great place to enjoy a drink, with the biggest selection of specialty beers in town.
