What’s New in the 2025 Model?

The 2025 version of the Duotone Unit DLAB isn’t just a facelift; it’s a decent upgrade from its predecessor. Duotone’s head wing designer, Ken Winner, focused on enhancing its performance, particularly in waves. Key improvements include:

• Pistol Grip : You can now choose between a boom or handles that both have a pistol grip.
• Stiffer Front Handle: Better control when in waves.
• Higher Base Grunt: Easier on foil in lighter winds.
• Mod 3D S canopy: 20% lighter the previous Mod 3

Performance in Various Conditions

We’ve put the 6.5-meter Unit DLAB 2025 through its paces, testing it in a range of conditions from light winds (8-12 knots) to stronger gusts (15-20 knots). The results were impressive!

Light Wind Performance

For riders who struggle in lighter winds, the Unit DLAB 2025 excels. At over 100 kilos, I typically found it challenging to foil in such conditions. However, with this wing, I was up and foiling effortlessly in light breezes. The performance truly lives up to the hype.
